Map Term History

The Map Term History form allows you to view historic details on changes made to term attributes. To access in Map Manager, do one of the following:

Select a term and then click .
Click the Term menu and then click View Map Term History.

All changes (add, change, or delete) are listed within the Term History grid according to the date of change, where the most recent change is placed at the top.

Please Note: There is no limit to the amount of history retained.

Additionally, fields containing a background color identify the affected attribute and the change that was made. Green indicates an addition, yellow indicates a change, and salmon indicates a deletion, as noted at the bottom of the form.

Please Note: Columns displayed within the grid may vary according to the attributes assigned.

Column Name	Description
Calc Status	Displays Yes (mapping status used) or No (mapping status not used) to indicate when the term’s mapping status was calculated based on the mapping status of its additional mappings (one-to-many mappings).
Candidates	Displays Yes (has candidates) or No (does not have candidates) to indicate whether the source term has target candidates.
Change Type	Indicates whether a map term attribute was added, changed, or removed.
Date	Displays the date and time the change was made and added to history.
Exclusion Flag	Indicates whether the term was excluded by pattern (exclusion rule), user, or is protected from exclusion.
Hypernym Based	Displays Yes (is Hypernym based) or No (not Hypernym based) to indicate whether candidates were generated using Hypernym logic.
Last Publish Date	Displays the date the map was last published to Symedical runtime services.
Qualifier	Displays the name of the map qualifier.
Qualifier List Value	Displays the list value name of the map qualifier, when defined.
Qualifier Term Value	Displays the term description value of the map qualifier, when defined.
Qualifier Text Value	Displays the factor or text value assigned to the map.
Reviewer User	Displays the name of the user assigned to review the mapping.
Source	Identifies whether the mapping source was Symedical, user, both, or none.
Source Term	Displays the selected source term description.
Special Logic Based	Displays Yes (is special logic based) or No (not special logic based) to indicate whether candidates were generated using the paranym logic (special logic).
Status	Displays whether the source term is mapped, unmapped, or freetext.
Submitted	Displays Yes (submitted) or No (not submitted) to indicate whether the mapped term is currently submitted for publication.
Target Term	Displays the mapped target term description.
Tiebreaker Based	Displays Yes (is tiebreaker based) or No (not tiebreaker based) to indicate whether candidates were generated using the tiebreaker logic.
User	Displays the name of the user who made the change.
User Flag	Displays the description of the flag assigned to the source term.
