Map History

The Map History form maintains details about changes made to maps. To access, do one of the following:

  • In the Waypoint dashboard, select a map and then click .

  • In Map Manager, click the Map menu and then click View History.

All changes (add, change, or delete) are listed within the Map History grid according to the date of change, where the most recent change is placed at the top. Within the grid, fields containing a background color identify the affected attribute and the change that was made. Green indicates an addition, yellow indicates a change, and salmon indicates a deletion, as noted at the bottom of the form.

Please Note: Columns displayed within the grid may vary according to the attributes assigned.

Description

Adapter Name

Displays the title of the adapter publication.

Additional Description

Displays the user-defined free text description for the map.

Allow Hypernyms

Displays the map’s Hypernym status of Yes (allowed) or No (not allowed).

Allow One to Many

Displays the Yes (allowed) or No (not allowed) to indicate whether one source term can be mapped to multiple target terms.

Allow Special Logic

Displays the map’s special logic status of Yes (allowed) or No (not allowed).

Allow Tiebreakers

Displays the map’s tiebreaker status of Yes (allowed) or No (not allowed).

Change Type

Displays whether the map record was added, changed, or deleted.

Content Security

Displays the catalog’s content security status as Yes (enabled) or No (disabled).

Date

Displays the date and time the change was made and added to history.

Domain Independent

Displays Yes (enabled) or No (disabled) to indicate whether the map enables the generation of candidates across all domains within a composite catalog.

Flag Set

Displays name of the flag set assigned to the map.

Is Protected

Displays Yes (protected) or No (not protected) to indicate whether the map is protected from being checked out or analyzed for mapping.

Log Runtime Diffs

Displays Yes (logged) or No (not logged) to indicate whether the Symedical logs differences found between source term values pushed into runtime and published source term values.

Map to Retired

Displays Yes (mapped) or No (not mapped) to indicate whether the map enables the generation of candidates based on a term’s retired status.

Mnemonic

Displays the map identifier used in Symedical runtime services.

Name

Displays the name of the map.

Namespace

Displays the name of the namespace with permissions to access the map.

Organization

Displays the name of the organization with permissions to access the map.

Originating Site

Displays the site that the catalog was generated from.

Owner

Displays the name of the map manager or creator.

Publish Target Alias

Displays the target alias value published to the Symedical runtime service.

Publish Target Attributes

Displays the publish target attribute status of Yes (published) or No (not published).

Quick Map Agent

Displays Yes (manually mapped) or No (not manually mapped) to indicate whether manual mapping can occur through email notification.

Runtime Map Mode

Displays the map’s runtime mode status.

Select All Mappable Candidates

Displays Yes (enabled) or No (not enabled) to indicate whether automatic mapping of all targets with a status of “Map” is enabled.

Site

Displays the name of the site with permissions to access the map.

Source Catalog

Displays the map’s source catalog.

Status

Displays the map’s status of active, retired, or work-in-progress.

Target Catalog

Displays the map’s target catalog.

Template

Displays the map’s template name.

Use Publish Adapter

Displays Yes (used) or No (not used) to indicate that the map utilizes a publish adapter.

User

Displays the name of user who made the change.

Version

If defined, displays the map version number.
